About Us
Habitat Robotics exists to close the gap between what technology can do and what conservation teams can actually use.

Aditya Palta
Co Founder & AI Products Leader
Aditya is a product and programs leader with 11+ years at Google. He has a Bachelor's in Engineering with experience spanning across satellite payload systems, integrated consumer hardware and AI driven SaaS software for customer acquisition and onboarding. Currently he runs the AI model training and benchmarking programs at Google, specializing in human behavior replication through LLMs and other classical machine learning systems. At Habitat Robotics, he leads product strategy and program design and operations, helping field relationships and GTM plans move together. Aditya's childhood was spent growing up around forests in Eastern India, fueling his passion for Habitat Robotics.

Dr. Gennaro Notomista
Research Partner, University of Waterloo
Gennaro leads the Ecological and Resilient Autonomous roBots Lab (ERABLab) at the University of Waterloo. His research spans robot design and control for long-duration autonomy, resilient multi-robot systems and sustainable environmental monitoring. He develops eco-compatible robots that can operate in uncertain environments for extended periods and adapt when conditions change. Gennaro and Siddharth have collaborated on energy-aware task allocation for heterogeneous robot teams and on brushbot platforms used for research and public education. As a research partner to Habitat Robotics, he contributes expertise in resilient autonomy & robotics architecture.
